The Company is owned by David and Anne Blewden and was establsihed in 1993.

From humble beginnings on an asparagus field on the banks of the mighty Waikato River, Lilies by Blewden is now one of the largest and most respected producers of lilies in New Zealand. Our 1.1h of fully automated and climate controlled greenhouses produce 1.2 million stems per year, giving our many customers consistent and reliable year round supply.

Lilies by Blewden is one of very few flower producers in New Zealand to meet the stringent demands of NZ GAP (formally NZ Approved Supplier) and is your guarantee that our flowers have been produced using Industry Best Practice. In particular, our commitment to IPM (intergrated pest management) means chemical use is kept to an absolute minimum - resulting in fewer nasty residues on our flowers.
