NOTICE BOARD

After Mothers Day (Added Mon 14th May)

It will take a few days for production to return to normal and some rationing will need to occur over the next few days. We have not picked any White Orientals today, but there are plenty sitting in the greenhouses and good production should resume by the end of the week.

Last week we produced in excess of 41,000 stems for Mother's Day compared to our normal weekly production of +/- 20,000 stems.

Mothers Day Crop Update (Added Wednesday 9th May)

Although we are still producing good quantities of lilies - demand is exceeding our ability to supply by an emormous margin. We are having to severly ration some lines - especially pink and white orientals in order to giver everyone a fair share of what is available. We regret the short-fall and are doing our best to keep everyone happy. Thank you for your uinderstanding.

Mothers Day Crop Update (Added Monday 7th May)

3 Bud White Orientals and all grades of Pink Orientals are now sold out. Late deliveries of these for Friday or Saturday morning may be possible - please ring us to discuss.

Orders for three bud White Orientals have significantly exceeded supply. Rationing and substitution of 2 bud White Orientals will be required to ensure everyone gets their fair share.

There are still good quantities of Pink L/A's available

Mothers Day Crop Update (Added Saturday 5th May)

It's still not too late to place your Mother's Day Order.

White Orientals are producing strongly for delivery next week, so with some rationing everyone should get a fair share of these.

Pink Orientals are not flushing quite so well - yet.

However, there will be plenty of Party Diamond, the Pink L/A available. We have done some extensive trialling and have solved the problem of petal drop with this variety. Our testing benches are full of stunning Party Diamond that is performing to expectation.

We are expecting good volumes of all other varieties and colours next week.

Mothers Day (Added Tuesday 1st May)

Orders already placed for 3 bud Pink and White Oriental lilies are likely to exceed our production next week. Although we will do our best, we now can not guarantee supply of these items on orders placed after 1st May.

ANZAC Day (Added Wednesday 18th April)

The nursery will be operating as normal Anzac Day, but will close on Friday 27th April to give staff a three day weekend. Couriers schedules will be distrupted on Wednesday and customers who normally receive deliveries on Wednesday let us know which alternate delivery day they prefer.

New Season Lilies (Added Wednesday 18th April)

The first of the new seasons lilies will begin flowering next week, with the welcome return of Original Love. This is always an exciting time for us as new season bulbs generally mean better quality, with more buds per stem and less bud distortion. Over the next fewmonths you will notice a marked lift in the quality of each variety as we transistion from "old" bulbs to "new" fresh bulbs.

Mothers Day Pricing - Standing Orders (Added Tuesday 10th April)

Customers who currently have a standing order in place (As of Monday 9th April) will receive their Mothers Day week standing order at "normal price". Any additions, add-ins or top-ups will be charged at the Mothers Day price operating at the time.

Mother Day (Added Wednesday 4th April)

Pre-ordering for Mothers Day will be available from Tuesday 10th April and will appear as a seperate category on the Website from Tuesday 10th onwards. Lilies will be offered by basic colour group only. If you have a prefered specific variety, please specify in the comment field of the website and we will do our best to supply according to your exact requirements. The price on offer at the time you place your order and confirm your order will be the price charged at delivery.

Website Discount (Added Wed 29th Feb)

Customers who use the website to order their lilies or manage their standing orders receive a 5% discount off our normal prices.

Customers are still more than welcome to order via phone, fax or email. However, we regret that the 5% discount is not available for such orders or where requests are made for us to make changes to standing orders.

We are very happy to assist all customers with any aspect of the website and its operation if you experience any problems.

New Staff (Added Wednesday 23rd February)

We are pleased to welcome Sally Hancox and Chrissy Goodin to our staff.

Sally will be taking the part-time position that Shirley Pluck held up to her retirement just prior to Christmas. Shirley has been back helping us out since Anna's tragic death and with the employment of Sally will no doubt be looking forward to that retirement.

Chrissy Goodin starts this Friday, and will be taking over the customer services role and has extensive experience in this area. We look forward to welcoming Chrissy and introducing her to you over the next few months.

WEBSITE

The website is working well and most customers are now using it regularly to place orders or manage their standing orders. If you are having trouble we are more than happy to talk you through over the phone. We have noticed one or two teething problems which we will sort out in the New Year. If you do notice any abnomalies in your invoicing or orders please do not hesitate to contact us. Likewise, suggestions on how the site could be further improved will be welcomed.
